Signs of Excellence, located in Murrysville, is a sign and graphic design company serving the community and the greater Pittsburgh area. As an essential business, Signs of Excellence has remained open throughout the Pennsylvania shutdown order. Like most small businesses, Signs of Excellence’s business level has been impacted by the shutdown and stay at home orders.
With Governor Wolf’s announcement that some businesses are allowed to reopen in May, subject to social distancing guidelines, many of their customers will once again be meeting face to face with customers and clients.
One of Signs of Excellence’s existing sign customers, a financial institution, was aware of our fabrication capabilities using acrylic, and requested that we design and fabricate a portable shield that could be moved from desk to desk and/or placed at bank teller windows.
Signs of Excellence’s sign design team designed and built a prototype portable shield. The model satisfied the bank’s requirements and Signs of Excellence received an order for all 17 of their local bank locations.
